Blackberry Parrot

1 1/2 oz. spiced rum
1 oz. Blackberry shrub
3/4 oz. fresh lime juice
1/4 oz. simple syrup

  • Combine all ingredients in a shaker with ice. Shake and strain into a Collins glass filled with fresh ice. Top with soda water. Garnish with lime and/or fresh blackberry.

* Blackberry shrub: Combine 1 cup of sugar and 1 cup of blackberries and let the mixture sit overnight. Add 1 cup of apple cider vinegar and let the mixture sit for another 24 hours. Strain and store in the fridge.
